There is an area where trenches were dug out about 4 to 6 feet deep and filled about half with water. The participants attempt to drive their vehicles through the trenches without getting stuck. … more    Turkey Raffle: Our Turkey Raffle is held every year the Saturday prior to Thanksgivings. It starts at 7:00 PM and continues until all items are raffled off. We raffle turkeys, hams, and pork lions off. We also have a door prize of a large turkey. You enter the door prize drawing by putting your name on the back of you raffle tickets. The more tickets, the better change to win it. We provide free refreshments during the raffle. You can take chances on winning extra cash with the purchase of Pull Tabs. You may see someone you haven’t seen in quite awhile. Everyone has a good time win or loose. Holiday Fireworks: There is a fireworks display every year in December at the Wallington Engine Co.. The Display starts at 6 pm sharp with free hot dogs, coffee and cocoa to the public starting at 5:00 (donations welcome). This is an annual event. It is a way for the volunteer services in the Town of Sodus to say thank you to the public for everyone’s support throughout the year.
