03-28-17 2 Vehicle MVA

At 5:40 PM we were dispatched to a 2 car Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) at Route 104 and Burlee Road. Victims were checked by ambulance personnel. No one was taken to hospital. We had 3 Chiefs, and 10 members respond to assist. We were back in service at 6:38 PM.

03-17-17 Automatic Mutual Aide with North Rose For Possible Structure Fire

At 10:32 PM we were dispatched via AMA (Automatic Mutual Aide) with North Rose for assistance with a possible structure fire on S. Huron Street in North Rose. The caller stated there was an odor of something electrical burning. Our response was canceled. We had 3 Chiefs and 6 firefighters responded. We were back in service at 10:44 PM

03-13-17 Hazardous Condition

At 5:06 PM Fire Control dispatched Sodus FD us for a tree leaning across wires on Tunley Road while at a house on Belden Avenue. We covered the call for them. The tree was on telephone wires and not a dangerous situation. We had Fire Control notify the telephone company. We had 2 Chiefs 15 members respond to the call. We were back in service at 5:14 PM.

03-13-17 Mutual Aide Sodus for a house fire

At 4:09 PM we were requested for Mutual Aide with Sodus for a house fire on Belden Avenue. It was called in by a person driving by see flame coming from the window. No one was injured. We had all 2 Chiefs and 23 firefighters respond to the call. We were back in service at 4:57 PM.

03-13-17 MA with Sodus Point Garbage Fire

At 9:46 AM we received a call for Mutual Aid (MA) with Sodus Point to a garbage bin on fire on Margretta Road. We were canceled en route. Responding to the call were our Chief and 7 members. We were back in service at 9:52 AM.

03-12-17 Mutual Aid with Tanker to Fairville for a Structure Fire

At 10:45 AM Fairville request our Tanker to a structure fire on Skinner Road. Passerby saw smoke coming from the structure and called it in. It appeared that no one was in structure at the time. We had 2 Chiefs and 16 firefighters respond. We were back in service at 1:48 PM.

03-11-17 CO2 Detector Activation

At 3:15 PM we were dispatched for CO2 Detector Activation on Harvest Drive. We turn the incident over to RG&E. We had 2 Chiefs and 11 firefighters responded to the call. We were back in service at 4:54 PM.

03-10-17 Hazardous Condition

At 5:17 PM Fire Control dispatched us for a tree that had fallen across wires on Kelly Road. RG&E were notified. We had our Deputy Chief 7 members respond to the call. We were back in service at 5:29 PM.

03-09-17 Hazardous Condition

At 11:22 AM Fire Control dispatched us for a tree that had fallen across wires on North Road. RG&E were notified and we waited for their arrival. We had our 10 members respond to the call. We were back in service at 12:17 PM.

03-08-17 Standby During High Wind Storm

 

At 2:30 PM Fire Control put out the County Emergency plan in effect where all county emergency services should standby in their base to respond situation occurring during the high wind storm. We responded to 4 trees that had fallen across the road and / or on wires. The tree was removed from the road and the ones on the wires RG&E were notified. We had our Deputy Chief and 12 members respond to the calls. We were back in service at 5:05 PM.
