 At 3:30AM we were dispatched to a resident for Smoke/Fire Detector Activation on Boyd Road. Our 2nd Assistant Chief found it was a vacant mobile home, and found nothing burning. We had our 2nd Assistant Chief and 4 firefighters responded to the call. We were back in service at 3:45AM

11-13-14 Mutual Aid with Wolcott for a possible Structure Fire

At 7:40 AM we were called to assist Wolcott with a possible structure fire on Catchpole Shore and Lake Bluff Road. The call from came form Bay Bridge (across the Bay from the fire). On arrival, it was found that the owner had two control burns on his property. We had 2 Chiefs and 10 firefighters respond. We were back in service at 8:03 AM.

11-11-14 Grass Fire

At 5:27 PM we were dispatched to a grass on Ridge Road. The fire was extinguished prior to our arrival. We had 2 Chiefs and 15 firefighters make the response. We were back in service at 5:32 PM.

10-29-14 Assist Rural Metro Ambulance with lifting

At 3:23 PM we were called to assist Rural Metro Ambulance with lifting on West Main Street in the village. We had 8 firefighter answered the call. We were back in service at 3:44 PM.

10-29-14 Assist North Rose Shed Fire

At 9:50 PM we were requested to assist North Rose with a shed fire on the Sand Bar off Leroy Island. Caller stated flames were approximately 20 feet high. There was no one at the residence. The only access was by boat. Firefighters were shuttled by North Rose and Sheriff boats. We had 3 Chiefs and 9 members respond to the call. We were back in service at 12:08 PM.

10-27-14 Two Vehicle MVA

At 4:57 PM we were dispatched to a tractor trail verses car motor vehicle accident (MVA) at South Geneva Road and Route 104. There were 2 victims that signed of medical attention. We had 3 Chiefs and 14 members respond to assist. We were back in service at 5:47 PM.

10-26-14 Gas Leak

At 9:45 PM County Fire Control dispatched us to a reported of an odor of gas on Ridge Road. The odor was from the stove that was left on. We had our Chief and 3rd Assistance Chief and 13 members respond the call. We were back in service at 10:08 PM.

 10-26-14 Mutual Aide with Sodus for a Structure Fire

At 6:05 PM we were requested to assist Sodus with an attic fire on Central Avenue. On arrival the fire had been knocked down. We had our 4 Chiefs and 22 firefighters respond. We were back in service at 6:48 PM.

10-26-14 Mutual Aide with Sodus Point for a Tree on Fire

At 9:09 AM we were requested by Sodus Point Fire Department for our Off Road vehicle to a tree on fire threatening a cabin on Emerald Point Road.  We had 3 Chiefs and 10 firefighters make the response. We were back in service at 10:35 AM.

10-08-14 Two Vehicle MVA

At 4:05 PM we were dispatched to a 2-vehicle motor vehicle accident (MVA) at South Geneva Road and Route 104. There were no injuries. We had 3 Chiefs and 9 members respond to assist. We were back in service at 4:38 PM.

09-30-14 Report of Propane Odor

At 1:49 AM County Fire 911 center dispatched us to a reported of an odor of propane gas on Ridge Road. Our Chief reported no gas leak. We had our Chief and 3rd Assistance Chief with 7 members respond the call. We were back in service at 2:12 AM.

09-22-14 AMA with North Rose House Fire

At  4:20 AM we dispatched via Automatic Mutual Aid (AMA) to a house fire on Brick School House Road in North Rose. Caller stated flames and smoke from the rear of the house. Everyone was out of the house. We had our Chief and 3rd Assistant Chief and 10 members respond to the call. We were back in service at 7:03 AM.

09-13-14 AMA w/ Sodus Point for Fire Alarm Activation

 At 12:03 PM we were dispatched, via Automatic Mutual Aide (AMA), with Sodus Point for smoke/fire detector activation on South Shore Road. It was determined that burnt food activated the alarm. We had our 3 Chiefs and 6 firefighters responded to the call. We were back in service at 12:16 PM.

09-10-14 Mutual Aid with Sodus for MVA

At 1:06 PM Sodus request us to block off traffic on Route 104 at Burlee Road while they were working a motor vehicle accident (MVA) at Route 104 and Ridge Road involving 2 vehicles. There was 1 victim taken to Strong Memorial Hospital. We had 2 Chiefs and 9 firefighters who made the response. We were back in service at 1:56 PM.

08-30-13 Two Vehicle MVA

At 12:10 PM we were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident (MVA) at South Geneva and Route 104 involving a car and motorcycle. There was one seriously injury who was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital by Mercy Flight. We had our 2nd Assistant Chiefs and 8 members respond to the incident. We were back in service at 1:23 PM.

08-29-14 ATV Into A Pole

At 1:59 PM we were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident (MVA) on North Geneva Road involving one ATV into a pole. There was one victim with sever head injury. The victim was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital. We had 2 Chiefs and 7 members respond to the incident. We were back in service at 2:44 PM.

08-28-14 Assist Alton w/ a Motor Vehicle/Deer Accident

At 7:57 AM we were dispatched to assist Alton with a Motor Vehicle/Deer Accident on Route 14. The driver had facial cuts from the deer hitting the windshield. The victim was treated at the scene and signed off going to the hospital. We had 2 Assistant Chiefs and 5 firefighters respond. We were back in service at 8:41 AM.

08-24-14 Battalion 3 Search & Rescue Practice

At 7:50 AM we were dispatched to Williamson Town Park for Battlion 3 Search & Rescue practice. A simulated incident where 4 victims were missing. They were last seen around the wooded area of the park. Participating from our department were our 2nd Assistant Chief and 7 firefighters. We were back in service at 12:23 PM.

08-21-14 Standby for Fireworks

 At 8:50 PM we left to standby during a Fireworks display on North Road. We had our 3 Chiefs and 4 members standing by. We were back in service at 9:37 PM.

08-19-14 AMA w/ Sodus for Fire Alarm Activation

At 7:07 AM we were dispatched, via Automatic Mutual Aide (AMA), with Sodus for smoke/fire detector activation on Benton Place. It was determined that there was no fire and will have the detector checked. We had our Chief and 5 firefighters responded to the call. We were back in service at 8:01 AM.

08-09-14 Set up Evacuation Center

 At 4:33 AM Wayne County Sheriff request the use of our fire hall for an evacuation for an incident on Ridge Road. The hall was opened at 4:40. There were 2 Chiefs and 4 members present. We were back in service at 7:30 AM

08-04-14 ADT Smoke Detector Activation

At 8:59 PM we were dispatched to a resident ADT Smoke/Fire Detector Activation on Ridge Road. We checked the house and determined the cause was burnt food. We had our 3rd and 4th Assistant Chief and 10 firefighters responded to the call. We were back in service at 9:12 PM.

08-01-14 AMA with Sodus with a Vent Fire.

At 9:46 AM we were called out with Sodus via Automatic Mutual Aid (AMA) to a Rotterdam Road form flames coming from a vent. Sodus command request the use of our Thermo-Imaging Camera to check for hot spots. We had 3 chiefs 8 firefighters respond to the call. We were back in service at 10:12 AM. 

07-30-14 Hazardous Conditions

At 11:40 AM Alton request our assistance to a residence on Ann Lee Drive that had a gas line struck by a contractor.  RG&E called in the incident, and it was turned over to them on their arrival. We had our Chief and 7 members at the call.  Were back in service at 12:31 PM.

07-18-14 Motor Vehicle/Deer Accident

 At 7:48 AM we were dispatched for a Motor Vehicle/Deer Accident on Burlee Road. The driver had facial cuts from the deer hitting the windshield. The victim was taken to Newark Hospital by ambulance. We had our 1st Assistant Chief and 9 firefighters respond. We were back in service at 8:42 AM.

 At 5:10 PM we were dispatched via Automatic Mutual Aid (AMA) with Sodus for CO2 Detector Activation on Rotterdam Road. Sodus Command instructed us to standby in our hall.  Our 2nd Assistant Chief and 4 firefighters responded to the call. We were back in service at 5:35 PM.

07-11-14 F.A.S.T. Team to South Bulter Possible House Fire

At  10:33 PM our Firefighter Assist and Search Team (FAST) was dispatched via Automatic Mutual Aid (AMA) to a house with CO2 detector activated and ceiling feels warm with no electrical power.  The South Bulter Chief canceled our response while we in route to the scene. We had our 3rd Assistant Chief and 7 members respond to the call. We were back in service at 11:02 PM.

 07-09-14 F.A.S.T. Team to North Rose House Fire

At  1:03 AM our Firefighter Assist and Search Team (F.A.S.T.) was dispatched via Automatic Mutual Aid (AMA) to a house filled with smoke on Ridge Road in North Rose. On arrival, the North Rose Comment requested our assistance in extinguishing the fire. We had our Chief and 1st Assistant Chief and 9 members respond to the call. We were back in service at 4:21 PM.

07-08-14   3 Hazardous Conditions during 7-8-14 Storm

From 5:49 PM to 10:50 PM Fire Control dispatched us 3 times for trees and / or wires down blocking the road during and after a sever storm passed through the area. There were 2 incidents on Ridge Road and 1 on North Geneva Road. We removed the trees and cable and telephone wires that could from the road, but had to wait for RG&E the electrical wires that were down. We had 3 Chiefs and 17 members covered all the calls.

07-03-14 Standby for Sodus Point Fireworks

We were request by Sodus Point to standby during their Fourth of July Fireworks display 7:00 PM to 11:30 PM. We had our Chief and 5 members standing by. 

07-03-14 AMA w/ Sodus for Fire Alarm Activation

At 5:47 PM we were dispatched via Automatic Mutual Aide (AMA), with Sodus for smoke in the building on Newark Street. It was determined that the smoke was from burnt food. We were put a standby. We had our Chief and 4 firefighters responded to the call. We were back in service at 6:06 PM.

07-01-14 ATV Into A Tree

At 8:02 PM we were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident (MVA) at Route 104 and Barclay Road involving one ATV into a tree. There was one victim with possible fracture leg. We had 2 Chiefs and 13 members respond to the incident. We were back in service at 8:45 PM.

06-30-14 Setup Mercy Flight Landing Zone for Silver Waters Ambulance

At 8:19 PM we were requested by Silver Waters Ambulance to setup a Mercy Flight Landing Zones at our fire hall for a victims who fell off a shed roof. Mercy Flight diverted to Sodus-Williamson Airport. Our response consists of 2 Chiefs and 12 members. We were back in service at 8:29 PM.

06-28-14 Mutual Aid to Alton for a House Fire

At 00:02 AM Alton request Mutual Aid for a house fire on York Settlement Road. There were no people in the house at the time. We had 3 Chief and 15 firefighters make the response. We were back in service at 2:05 AM.

 06-27-14 AMA w/ Sodus for Fire Alarm Activation

At 10:35 AM we were dispatched, via Automatic Mutual Aide (AMA), with Sodus for smoke/fire detector activation. Sodus Command put us a standby. It was determined that the smoke was caused burnt toast.  We had 3 Chiefs and 2 firefighters responded to the call. We were back in service at 11:06 AM.

06-26-14 Hazardous Conditions

At 3:49 PM Fire Control dispatched us to a residence on Ridge Road that had a gas odor where the stove was. Residents were moving the stove.  RG&E was requested, and turned it incident over to them on their arrival. We had 2 Chiefs and 6 members at the call. Were back in service at 4:06 PM

 6-24-14 AMA w/ Sodus for Smoke in a Residence

 At 11:05 AM we were dispatched, via Automatic Mutual Aide (AMA), with Sodus for smoke in a house on Belden. It was determined that the smoke was caused by a from an oven fire. We had 3 Chiefs and 9 firefighters responded to the call. We were back in service at 11:43 AM.

06-23-14 AMA with Alton for MVA

At 12:24 PM we were called, via Automatic Mutual Aide (AMA), with Alton for one vehicle on the road into utility pole. Caller stated there were 2 people out of the car and one is bleeding. Alton canceled our response. Our response consists of 2 Chiefs and 7 members. We were back in service at 1:05 PM.

6-18-14 Setup Mercy Flight Landing Zone for Lyons Ambulance

At 8:17 AM we were requested by Lyons Ambulance to setup 2 Mercy Flight Landing Zones at our fire hall for 2 victims of an MVA (Motor Vehicle Accident) on Maple Street RoadOur response consists of 2 Chiefs and 9 members. We were back in service at 9:27 AM.

06-16-14 Hazardous Conditions

At 12:04 PM Fire Control dispatched us to a residence on Ridge Road that had a gas odor by the stove. RG&E was requested, and turnedthe incident over to them on their arrival. We had our Chief and 9 members at the call. Were back in service at 1:04 PM

06-11-14 AMA with Alton for MVA

At 3:55 PM we were called, via Automatic Mutual Aide (AMA), with Alton for a two vehicle Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) on Route 14. Caller stated there was a person lying in the road. We stayed in our hall for standby. We were back in service at 4:27 PM.

06-09-14 Mutual Aid with Tanker to Fairville for a Garage Fire

At 10:49 PM Fairvile request our Tanker to a garage fire on Route 88. Passerby saw flames coming garage and called it in. No one appeared to be at home at the time. We had 2Chiefs and 11 firefighters respond. We were back in service at 11:28 PM.

05-30-14 Mutual Aid with Sodus for MVA

 At  12:42 PM Sodus request us to block off traffic on Route 104 at Rotterdam Road while they were working a motor vehicle accident (MVA) at Route 104 and Route 88 involving 2 vehicles. There were 3 victims. All victims signed off further treatment. We had 2 Chiefs and 6 firefighters who made the response. We were back in service at 1:20 PM.

05-28-14 Hazardous Conditions

At 10:25 PM Fire Control dispatched us to a tree down blocking North Geneva Road. We removed the tree from the road. We had our 2nd Assistance Chief and 5 members assist removing the tree. We were back in service at 10:48 PM.

 05-27-14 Mutual Aid with Sodus for MVA

 At  4:22 PM Sodus request us to block off traffic on Route 104 at Maple Avenue while they were working a motor vehicle accident (MVA) at Route 104 and Rotterdam Road involving  2 vehicles. There were 2 injured. One person was taken to Strong Hospital the other sign off further treatment. We had 2 Chiefs and 12 firefighters who made the response. We were back in service at 5:51 PM.

 05-27-14 MA with Alton Smoke Detector activated

 At 7:13 AM we were called out with Alton via Mutual Aid (MA) for Smoke Detector activated on Route 14. Alton requested our Thermo-Imaging Camera to check for hot spots. A faulty ceiling fan triggered the Smoke Alarm. We had our Chief and 3 firefighters answered the call. We were back in service at 7:28 AM. 

05-22-14 Mutual Aid with Sodus for MVA

At 7:22 AM Sodus request us to block off traffic on Route 104 at State Street while they were working a motor vehicle accident (MVA) at Maple Avenue and Route 104 involving a tractor trail and car.  One person was taken to Strong Hospital. We had our Chief and 6 firefighters who made the response. We were back in service at 8:45 AM.

05-20-14 AMA with Alton for MVA

At 3:09 PM we were called, via Automatic Mutual Aide (AMA), with Alton for a one vehicle Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) on Ride Road. A vehicle went off the road and struck a utility pole. We assist with traffic control. We had 9 firefighters who made the response. We were back in service at 3:43 PM.

 05-16-14 AMA Standby for Sodus for a Chimney Fire

At 8:46 PM we were dispatched via Automatic Mutual Aid (AMA) with Sodus for a Chimney Fire on Route 88. Sodus Command instructed us to standby in our hall. We had 2 Chiefs and 15 firefighters responded to the call. We were back in service at 9:35 PM.

05-16-14 Residential Water Problems

At 8:07 AM we were dispatched to a residence with 1 foot of water in their basement on Ridge Road. We pumped the water out of their basement. We had our 2 Chiefs and 7 members respond. We were back in service at 9:07 AM.

05-10-14 Control Burn

At 1:18 PM we dispatched for a controlled burn that got out of control on North Road. The fire was extinguished. Responding to the call were 2 Chiefs and 11 members. We were back in service at 2:15 PM.

05-04-14 Tree on Fire

At 2:34 PM we were called to a tree on fire after it came in contact with electrical wires on Christian Holler Road. RG&E removed the tree from the wires and the fire was extinguished.  We had 3 Chiefs and 7 firefighters make the response. We were back in service at 4:21 PM.

04-28-14 Setup Mercy Flight Landing Zone for Lyons Ambulance

At 1:36 PM we were requested by Lyons Ambulance to setup a Mercy Flight Landing Zone at our fire hall for a victim of an ATV accident.  Our response consists of 13 members. We were back in service at 2:19 PM.

04-20-14 Mutual Aid with Sodus Point for a Structure Fire

At 4:52 PM we were called to assist Sodus Point with an apartment fire on Bay Road. It took about 30 minute to extinguish the fire and overhaul was done to check for hot spots. Wayne County Fire Investigating Team was called in to determine the cause. We had our 3 Chiefs and 17 firefighters respond. We were back in service at 5:37 PM.

04-20-14 Smoke in the area of Route 104 and S. Geneva Road

At 4:04 PM we were called out to Route 104 and South Geneva Road with the caller reporting a lot of smoke in the area. The smoke was coming from a resident’s control burn. At our Chief’s request the owner extinguished the fire. We had 2 chiefs 4 firefighters respond to the call. We were back in service at 4:15 PM. 

04-18-14 Setup Mercy Flight Landing Zone for Alton Ambulance

At 11:52 PM we were requested by Alton Ambulance to setup a Mercy Flight Landing Zone at our fire hall for a victim of a MVA (Motor Vehicle Accident).  Our response consists of our 3rd Assistant Chief and 10 members. We were back in service at 12:38 AM.

04-18-14 Mutual Aid with Sodus for a Structure Fire

At 1:49 PM we were called to assist Sodus, via AMA (Automatic Mutual Aid), with a barn fire on Maple Avenue. On arrival, it was found that a tractor in a barn was on fire and had been extinguished. We had 2 Chiefs and 18 firefighters respond. We were back in service at 2:30 PM.

04-16-14 Setup Mercy Flight Landing Zone

At 11:27 PM we were requested by Silver Waters Ambulance to setup a Mercy Flight Landing Zone at the scene of a motor vehicle accident at Lake Road and North Geneva Road. Our response consists of our 3rd Assistant Chief and 29 members. We were back in service at 11:58 PM.

 04-13-14 Control Burn

At 1:31 PM we dispatched for a controlled burn that got out of control. The fire was extinguished. Responding to the call were 3 Chiefs and 21 members. We were back in service at 2:13 PM.

04-01-14 Residential Water Problems

At 10:25 PM we were dispatched to a residence with water in their basement up to the bottom stair step on Boyd Road. We pumped the water out of their basement. We had our 2nd Chief and 7 members respond. We were back in service at 11:28 PM.

03-29-14 Assist Alton Ambulance with lifting

 At 10:27 AM we were called to assist Alton Ambulance with lifting on North Geneva Road. We had 2 firefighters answered the call. We were back in service at 10:35 AM.

03-23-14 CO2 Detector Activation

At 4:26 AM we were dispatched for a CO2 Detector Activation on Boyd Road. It was determined that it was a faulty detector. We had 3 Chiefs and 7 firefighters responded to the call. We were back in service at 5:09 AM.

03-15-14 F.A.S.T. Team to North Rose Possible House Fire

At  6:58 PM our Firefighter Assist and Search Team (FAST) was dispatched via Automatic Mutual Aid (AMA) to a house with sparks and smoke coming from electrical box on Gray Street in North Rose. The North Rose Chief canceled our response when he arrived at the scene. We had our 1st Assistant Chief and 12 members respond to the call. We were back in service at 7:02 PM.

02-03-14 AMA with Sodus for CO2 Detector Activation

 At 2:58 PM we were dispatched via Automatic Mutual Aid (AMA) with Sodus for CO2 Detector Activation on Curtis Avenue. Sodus Command instructed us to standby in our hall.  Our Chief and 4 firefighters responded to the call. We were back in service at 3:13 PM.

 03-13-14 Assist Alton Ambulance with lifting

 At 11:30 AM we were called to assist Alton Ambulance with lifting on Shaker Road. Our 1st Assistant Chief and 1 firefighter answered the call. We were back in service at 11:55 AM

02-20-14 Possible Electrical Fire

 At 12:45 AM were called out for a possible electrical fire. The caller stated they could smell and see some smoke and thought it might be electric. The cause was a problem with the heat tape on the water pipes. We had our 2nd Assistant Chief and 5 firefighters at the scene. We were back in service at 1:40 AM.

02-17-14 AMA with Sodus with Smoke Possible Structure

At 5:06 PM we were called out with Sodus via Automatic Mutual Aid (AMA) to a Rotterdam Road with caller reporting a lot of smoke in the area. Sodus command on arrival stated the smoke was from an outdoor wood stove. We had 2 chiefs 4 firefighters respond to the call. We were back in service at 5:10 PM. 

02-16-14  F.A.S.T. Team to E. Williamson Church Fire

At 2:56 PM Our Firefighter Assist and Search Team (FAST) was dispatched to a church fire on Ridge Road in East Williamson. The caller stated flames were coming out of the church. Our 4 Chiefs and 11 members responded to the call. We were back in service at 5:24 PM.

02-15-14 AMA with Alton for Snowmobile Accident Victim

At 2:10 PM we were called, via Automatic Mutual Aide (AMA), with Alton for a snowmobile accident victim at their fire hall on Route 14. The victim was driven there from Wolcott and was having difficulty breathing.  On arrival Alton command released us. We had our Chief and 4 firefighters who made the response. We were back in service at 2:14 PM.

02-15-14 AMA with Sodus with Smoke from an electrical outlet.

At 11:57 AM  we were called out with Sodus via Automatic Mutual Aid (AMA) to a Gaylord Street residence reporting smoke from an electrical outlet. Sodus command request us to standby in our quarters. We had 2 chiefs and 5 firefighters respond to the call. We were back in service at 12:06 PM. 

02-10-14 AMA with Alton for MVA

At 9:22 AM we were called, via Automatic Mutual Aide (AMA), with Alton for a Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) at Route 104 and Route14 caused by poor road condition. There were no injuries. We assist with traffic control. We had our Chief and 10 firefighters who made the response. We were back in service at 9:49 AM.

02-04-14 Standby for Sodus Center Chimney Fire

At 6:49 AM we were requested by Sodus Center Command to Standby for Alton and them while they were at a Chimney Fire on Quarry Road. We had 3 Chiefs and 9 firefighters who respond to this call. We were back in service at 9:17 AM

02-03-14 Gas Leak

At 6:49 PM County Fire Control dispatched to a reported of an odor of gas on Ridge Road by Wayne County Advance Life Support (ALS). Our 3rd Assistance Chief request Fire Control to notify RG&E of a confirmed gas leak. We stood by until RG&E arrived. We had our 3rd Assistance Chief and 4 members respond the call. We were back in service at 7:38 PM

 02-03-14 AMA with Sodus for CO2 Detector Activation

At 9:01 AM we were dispatched via Automatic Mutual Aid (AMA) with Sodus for CO2 Detector Activation on Spring Street. We used our CO2 Detector. Sodus Command requested RG&E and released us. Our 3rd Assistant Chief and 6 firefighters responded to the call. We were back in service at 9:52 AM.

02-01-14 Chief Investigation

At 8:44 AM the County Dispatch request a Chief to check a house for possible fire where an oxygen hose flared up burning the person using it on North Geneva Road. Our 3rd Assistant Chief reported to Fire Control that was no fire. The person on oxygen received burns and was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital. We had 2 Chiefs and 8 members responded. We were back in service at 8:52 AM

01-27-14 Mercy Flight Landing Pedestrian Struck for Lyons

At 2:51 PM we were called to setup a Landing Zone for Mercy Flight for a pedestrian struck by a vehicle on Maple Street Road. We had our Chief and 8 members respond to the call. We were back in service at 3:44 PM.

At 2:35 PM we were called for a pedestrian struck by a vehicle at North Geneva Road and Route 104. The information was incorrect. The correct address was in Lyons district. We had our Chief and 6 members respond to the call. We were back in service at 2:45 PM. 

01-24-14 AMA with Alton for MVA

At 6:42 AM we were called, via Automatic Mutual Aide (AMA), with Alton for a Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) at Red Mill Road and Route 14. Sodus Highway reported a vehicle on its side in the creek. On arrival Alton command released us from standby. The only person in the vehicle had left the scene and went to a friend’s house. We had 2 Chiefs and 6 firefighters who made the response. 01-10-14 F.A.S.T. Team to North Rose Possible House Fire

At  5:44 AM our Firefighter Assist and Search Team (FAST) was dispatched via Automatic Mutual Aid (AMA) to house full of smoke on Elm Street in North Rose. The caller stated there was just smoke now. The North Rose Chief canceled our response when he arrived at the scene. We had 2 Assistant Chiefs and 5 members respond to the call. We were back in service at 6:00 PM.

01-09-14 Residential Water Problems

At 6:01 PM we were dispatched to a residence with 6 inches of water in their basement on North Geneva Road. We pumped the water out of their basement. We had 2 Chiefs and 6 members respond. We were back in service at 8:18 PM.

01-08-14 Residential Water Problems

At 8:47 AM we were dispatched to a residence with 6 inches of water in their basement on Ridge Road. We pumped the water out of their basement. We had our 1st Assistant Chief and 7 members respond. We were back in service at 9:32 AM.

01-05-14 Assist Town of Sodus Water Department

At 8:19 PM we were dispatched to assist Town of Sodus Water Department with our Tanker on Maple Avenue Extension flush a water line. We had our 3rd Assistant Chief and 3 firefighters respond. We were back in service at 11:16 AM.

 01-04-14 Wires Sparking 

At 5:40 PM while we at Wolcott’s house fire, we received a called for wires sparking at Route 104 and Barclay Road. Fire Control dispatched Sodus to the scene to assist. Sodus Command stated it was Indictor Lights on the wires and Fire Control notified RG&E. We 5 of our firefighters respond to the scene. We were back in service at 5:45 PM.

 01-4-14 Mutual Aid with Wolcott for a House Fire

 At 4:47 PM Wolcott request our Tanker and manpower to a house fire on North Huron Road. Resident saw smoke coming from his house when he was returning home. No one was at home at the time. We had our 2nd Assistant Chief and 8 firefighters respond. We were back in service at 8:24 PM.

 01-2-14 AMA with Sodus for CO2 Detector Activation

At 1:02 PM we were dispatched via Automatic Mutual Aid (AMA) with Sodus for CO2 Detector Activation on Rotterdam Road.  Sodus Command canceled our response. The investigation found it to be a problem with the batteries. Two Chiefs and 3 firefighters responded to the call. We were back in service at 1:07 PM.

12-21-13 Residential Water Problems

At 11:34 PM we were dispatched to a residence with 2-3 feet of water in their basement on Boyd Road. We pumped the water out of their basement. We had 2 Assistant Chiefs and 6 members respond. We were back in service at 12:59 AM.

12-13-13 AM with Alton for MVA

 At 11:06 AM we were called, via Automatic Mutual Aide (AMA), with Alton for a Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) on Route 14. We shutdown the south bound lane while Alton attend to a vehicle that hit an apple tree. We had 2 Assistant Chiefs and 9 firefighters who made the response. We were back in service at 12:16 PM.

12-11-13 AMA w/ Sodus for Fire Alarm Activation

At 4:31 PM we were dispatched, via Automatic Mutual Aide (AMA), with Sodus for smoke in a house on Ridge Road. It was determined that the smoke was caused by a problem with the furnace, no fire. Sodus Chief put us a standby. We had our 2nd Assistant Chief and 6 firefighters responded to the call. We were back in service at 4:52 PM

12-05-13 AMA w/ Sodus for Fire Alarm Activation

 At 4:58 PM we were dispatched via Automatic Mutual Aide (AMA), with Sodus for smoke in the building on Main Street in the village. It was determined that the smoke was from a pot spilling onto the stove. Sodus Chief put us a standby. We had 7 firefighters responded to the call. We were back in service at 5:08 PM.

11-29-13 AMA w/ Sodus for Fire Alarm Activation

At 10:29 PM we were dispatched via Automatic Mutual Aide (AMA), with Sodus for smoke in the building on Newark Street. It was determined that the smoke was from a small fire in a closet, which was extinguished with a fire extinguisher. We were put a standby. We had our 3 Assistant Chiefs and 5 firefighters responded to the call. We were back in service at 10:56 PM.

11-27-13 Hazardous Conditions

At 2:52 AM Fire Control dispatched us to a tree limb down blocking State Street caused heavy snow through the area. Sheriff Deputy, responding to a possible prowler, removed the tree from the road and canceled our response. We had our 4th Assistance Chief and 1 member respond prior to the cancellation. We were back in service at 2:57 AM.

11-26-13 F.A.S.T. Team to South Butler Structure Fire

At  11:53 AM our Firefighter Assist and Search Team (FAST) was dispatched to a structure fire on Basset Road in South Butler. The caller stated there were flames showing. We had 2 Chiefs and 4 members respond to the call. We were back in service at 12:33 PM.

11-23-13 One-Vehicle Rollover MVA

At 5:12 PM we were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident (MVA) at Birchwood Lane and Ridge Road involving one car that had rolled over. There was no entrapment. Medical personnel, of who found no serious injuries, checked the 2 occupants. We had our Chief and 2nd Assistance Chief and 16 members respond to the incident. We were back in service at 6:26 AM.

11-18-13 Two Vehicle MVA

At 5:28 PM we were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident (MVA) at North Geneva and Ridge Road involving 2 cars. No one was seriously injured. We had 2 Assistance Chiefs and 7 members respond to the incident. We were back in service at 6:01 PM.

11-18-13  AMA w/ Alton Sparks coming Power Lines to house 

At 6:32 AM we were dispatched via Automatic Mutual Aide (AMA) with Alton to a possible house fire on Ridge Road. The caller stated sparks were coming from the power line going into the house. The sparks were cause by a piece of flashing on the wire. RG&E respond and took care of the problem. We had our 1st Assistant Chief and 6 firefighters who respond. We were back in service 6:49 AM.

11-13-13 Two Vehicle MVA

At 6:11 PM we were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident (MVA) at Barclay and Ridge Road involving one pickup truck and a motorcycle. The motorcyclist was pinned under motorcycle. One person was fatally injured. We had our 3 Assistance Chiefs and 18 members respond to the incident. We were back in service at 10:41 PM.

11-01-13  Hazardous Conditions

At 1:55 PM Fire Control dispatched us to a tree down blocking Route 104 caused by high wind that passed through the area. We removed the tree from the road. We had our 3rd  Assistance Chief and 12 members assist removing the tree. We were back in service at 2:14 PM.
