At 12:10 PM we were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident (MVA) at South Geneva and Route 104 involving a car and motorcycle. There was one victim seriously injured who was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital by Mercy Flight. We had our 2nd Assistant Chiefs and 8 members respond to the incident. We were back in service at 1:23 PM.
At 1:59 PM we were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident (MVA) on South Geneva Road involving one ATV into a pole. There was one victim with sever head injury. The victim was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital. We had 2 Chiefs and 7 members respond to the incident. We were back in service at 2:44 PM.
At 7:57 AM we were dispatched to assist Alton with a Motor Vehicle/Deer Accident on Route 14. The driver had facial cuts from the deer hitting the windshield. The victim was treated at the scene and signed off going to the hospital. We had 2 Assistant Chiefs and 5 firefighters respond. We were back in service at 8:41 AM.
At 7:50 AM we were dispatched to Williamson Town Park for Battlion3 Search & Rescue practice. A simulated incident where 4 victims were missing. They were last seen around the wooded area of the park. Participating from our department were our 2nd Assistant Chief and 7 firefighters. We were back in service at 12:23 PM.
At 8:50 PM we left to standby during a Fireworks display on North Road. We had our 3 Chiefs and 4 members standing by. We were back in service at 9:37 PM.
At 7:07 AM we were dispatched, via Automatic Mutual Aide (AMA), with Sodus for smoke/fire detector activation ON Benton Place. It was determined that there was no fire and will have the detector checked. We had our Chief and 5 firefighters responded to the call. We were back in service at 8:01 AM.
At 4:33 AM Wayne County Sheriff request the use of our fire hall for an evacuation for an incident on Ridge Road. The hall was opened at 4:40. There were 2 Chiefs and 4 members present. We were back in service at 7:30 AM.
At 8:59 PM we were dispatched to a resident ADT Smoke/Fire Detector Activation on Ridge Road. We checked the house and determined the cause was burnt food. We had our 3rd and 4th Assistant Chief and 10 firefighters responded to the call. We were back in service at 9:12 PM.
At 9:46 AM we were called out with Sodus via Automatic Mutual Aid (AMA) to a Rotterdam Road form flames coming from a vent. Sodus command request the use of our Thermo-Imaging Camera to check for hot spots. We had 3 chiefs 8 firefighters respond to the call. We were back in service at 10:12 AM.
At 11:40 AM Alton request our assistance to a residence on Ann Lee Drive that had a gas line struck by a contractor. RG&E called in the incident, and it was turned over to them on their arrival. We had our Chief and 7 members at the call. Were back in service at 12:31 PM.
