At 11:21 AM we were dispatched to a grass on North Geneva Road during the spring burning ban. A Wayne Sheriff Deputy reported the fire. Owner was advised of the burning ban and extinguished the fire. We had our 3 Chiefs and 3 firefighters make the response. We were back in service at 11:30 AM.
At 9:53 AM our Firefighter Assist and Search Team (FAST) was dispatched via Automatic Mutual Aid (AMA) to a house with an odor of plastic burning. The North Rose Chief canceled our response when he arrived at the scene. We had our 1st Assistant Chief and 8 members respond to the call. We were back in service at 10:06 AM.
At 10:34 PM we were dispatched to a 1 vehicle Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) at Route 104 and South Geneva Road where a vehicle went off the road. There were no injuries. We had 3 Chiefs, and 10 members respond to assist. We were back in service at 10:54 PM.
At 3:53 PM we were called, via Automatic Mutual Aide (AMA), with Alton for one vehicle of the road into utility pole. Caller stated there was 1 victim and was out of the car. At first the victim stated they were okay and the ambulance left. About an hour later, the ambulance was request back and victim was taken to Newark hospital. Our response consists of 2 Chiefs and 3 members. We were back in service at 4:36 PM.
At 10:09 PM we were requested to Standby for Sodus while they were out on multiple calls for trees and power lines down on Ridge Road. We had our 2nd Assistant Chief and 7 firefighters responded to the call. We were back in service at 12:07 AM.
At 10:24 AM we were requested to assist Sodus with an electrical fire in the attic on Shaver Street. The fire was extinguished before any major damage was done. We had 2 Chiefs and 13 firefighters respond. We were back in service at 11:07 AM.
At 8:17 AM we were dispatched to assist Alton via Automatic Mutual Aid (AMA) to a 2 vehicle Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) at Route 104 and Chaplin Road. There were 2 people with injuries. We had 2 Chiefs, and 6 members respond to assist. We were back in service at 9:11 AM.
At 5:05 PM we were dispatched to a residence with water in the basement approaching the furnace on Boyd Road. We pumped the water out for them. We had our 2nd Assistant Chief and 7 members respond. We were back in service at 5:38 PM.
At 1:42 PM we were called to Sodus Point for a Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) on Margraretta Road where a vehicle rolled into a tree. We had 1st Assistant Chiefs and 7 firefighters who made the response. We were back in service at 2:43 PM.
At 9:24 AM we were called to a Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) on Route 104 where a Tractor Trailer truck rolled on its side. We needed to wait until the load of corn was off loaded. Featherly’s up righted the truck and towed it away. Sodus Ambulance took the driver hospital. We had 3 Chiefs and 10 firefighters who respond. We were back in service at 6:15 PM.
