At 1:18: PM Sodus Center request us to assist with a motor vehicle accident (MVA) on Sodus Center Road involving 1 vehicle on it’s roof in a ditch. It appeared that vehicle went into the ditch and hit a driveway culver pipe and flipped over. There were 2 serious injuries. We had our 3rd Assistance Chief and 11 firefighters who made the response. We were back in service at 2:40 PM
At 10:44 AM we were dispatched for a CO2 Detector Activation on Ridge Road. It was determined that the house was clear of Carbon Monoxide. The detector malfunctioned. We had 2 Chiefs and 9 firefighters responded to the call. We were back in service at 11:01 PM.
At 8:36 PM we were dispatched via Automatic Mutual Aid (AMA) to a house fire on Main Street in North Rose. Caller stated flames and smoke from the roof of the house. Everyone got out of the house safe. We had our 4 Chiefs and 16 members respond to the call. We were back in service at 11:20 PM.
At 7:15 PM Fire Control dispatched us to a residence on Kelley Road with the smoke alarm in the basement activated. The resident notified dispatch that it was a faulty trip. Our Chief investigated and confirmed the faulty trip and instruct everyone to stand down. We had 2 Chiefs and 6 members respond to the call. Were back in service at 7:23 9M.
We were request by Sodus Point to standby during their Fourth of July Fireworks display 8:00 PM to 11:30 PM. We had our 1st Assistant Chief and 3 members standing by.
At 6:44 PM we were requested to assist North Rose with a garage fire on Lasher Road. Caller stated flames were showing and spreading to the house. There were no injuries. We had our 4 Chiefs and 17 members respond to the call. We were back in service at 8:38 PM.
At 10:15 AM we were dispatched for our Firefighter Assist and Search Team (F.A.S.T.) to a garage full of smoke South Street with Sodus Center. The garage was 4 feet from the house. The fire was detained to the garage. We had 2 Chiefs and 9 members responded to the call. We were back in service at 11:14 AM.
At 4:36 PM we were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident (MVA) at North Geneva and Christian Holler Road involving one car that had gone off the road. There was a week old baby in the vehicle. We use some hand tools to get a door open to get the baby out. We had our 4 Chiefs and 5 members respond to the incident. We were back in service at 5:20 PM.
At 10:19 PM we were dispatched to a residence with 14 to 15 inches of water in the basement on Boyd Road. We pumped the water out for them. We had 5 members respond. We were back in service at 10:53 PM.
At 4:16 PM we were dispatched to a minor 2 vehicle Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) at Route 104 and South Geneva Road with no injuries. We had 2 Chiefs, and 10 members respond to assist. We were back in service at 4:40 PM.
