At 3:00 PM County Fire Control dispatched us to a reportof an odor of gas on Barclay Road. Checked area with gas meter and waited for owner to arrive to check inside. Found no immediate danger. We had 2 Chiefs and 8 members respond to the call. We were back in service at 3:47 PM.
At 7:26 AM County Fire Control dispatched us to a reported of an odor of gas on Ridge Road. RG&E was notified. It was determined that the odor was from a propane gas grill. We had 2 Chiefs and 6 members respond the call. We were back in service at 7:40 AM.
At 7:54 PM North Rose request us to assist at a Boat fire on Sodus Bay. The actual fire was a g rill on the boat, everything ok. We had our 4 Chiefs and 7 firefighters who respond. We were back in service at 8:42 PM.
At 3:55 PM we dispatched to standby in our hall for Fairville while they were out at a house fire on Tellier Road in East Palmyra. We had 2 Chiefs and 7 members respond to the call. We were back in service at 6:01 PM.
At 5:57 PM we received a call for a vehicle fire Ridge Road. On arrival, the vehicle was fully engulfed. No one was in or around the vehicle at the time. Responding to the call were 3 Chiefs and 15 members We were back in service at 6:38 PM.
At 6:33 PM County Fire Control dispatched us via AMA (Automatic Mutual Aide) to Alton to a report of a stove fire on Catchpole Road. The caller stated it was put out with a fire extinguisher but would like to have it checked to be sure. We had our Chief and 8 members respond the call. We were back in service at 6:39 PM.
At 5:09 PM We were dispatched via AMA (Automatic Mutual Aide) to Alton for a motor vehicle accident (MVA) at Route 104 and Route 14 where a 2 vehicles collided. Our assignment was assist in traffic control. We had our 4 Chiefs and 14 firefighters who made the response. We were back in service at 5:58 PM.
At 4:37 AM Fire Control dispatched us to South Geneva Road with a smoke alarm activated, everything was okay on our arrival. We had 2 Chief3 and 7 members respond to the call. Were back in service at 4:58 AM.
At 1:11 PM We were dispatched via AMA (Automatic Mutual Aide) with North Rose for assistance with a possible house fire on Rose Avenue. The caller stated leaves under deck were burning and attempted to extinguish, but wasn’t sure if it was out. It was determined a hay bale was burning and it was quickly extinguished. We had 2 Chiefs and 14firefighters responded. We were back in service at 1:40 PM.
At 1:23 AM Our Firefighter Assist and Search Team (F.A.S.T) was dispatched for a house fire on Ridge Road with East Williamson. East Williamson responding to another emergency recorded from County dispatch reported this incident. There was a person in side of the house, which was rescued by firefighters and taken to the hospital. We had 2 Chiefs and 10 members responded to the call. We were back in service at 7:44 AM.
