Wallington Fire Company Parade Competition Prizes and InformationPARADE INFO ~ Summer 2007
Over the last week Wallington Engine Company has been taking part in local parades, something we take a lot of pride in and enjoy doing very much. First up was the Wolcott Parade we went in very strong. We came home with:

  • 1st Place for MOST MEN IN LINE

    1st Place for BEST APPEARING DEPARTMENT

    JUDGES CHOICE

  • BEST APPEARING APPARATUS

Next up was the Newark Rose parade. We brought home: 1st Place FOR BEST APPEARING 14 AND UNDER.

Next up was the Sodus Parade we always have a strong showing in our local town parade as again we did well. Taking home:

  • 1st Place in BEST APPEARING DEPARTMENT

    1st for MOST MEN IN LINE OVER 21 (we had 31 total)

    BEST APPEARING ENGINE (E-40)

  • 1st for COLOR GUARD

Also for the month of July we had two teams compete in the Sodus Point Sink-a-Boat where our teams took home First and Second place.

Fairville Parade:

  • 1st Best Appearing Department
  • 1st Best Appearing 18 and over in line.

Clyde Parade Results:

  • Best Appearing Department Over All
  • 1st Place 14 and over Fire Department

1st and 4th place - Team Wallington FD in Waterball competition 2007
Waterball Tournament in CLYDE: Out of 8 teams competing. we finished 1st  ( 3rd TIME DEFENDING CHAMPS ) & 4th  Place and we also had a 6th place finish.



 

Also for the month of July we had two teams compete in the Sodus Point Sink-a-Boat where our teams took home First and Second place. We still have the annual Softball tournament coming up in late August, which takes place at the Williamson Ball Fields. We will keep you updated as to the outcome of all of these events.
