Firefighter Ed Toye
It is with great sadness and remorse that on Saturday evening, the day before Easter,
that we lost a long time member. Ed had well over 55 years in the Department, was a father,
a husband, a grandfather, and great friend to all those who new him. Ed Toye will be greatly
missed by all those who spent time around him. He was a ball of energy and laughs and could
always put a smile on your face even in the worst of times. Ed was a big part of everything
that took place at the W.F.D., including going to all the softball games as a true fan of his
younger brothers and sisters. He will be greatly missed and our hearts and prayers go out to
his family as Ed leaves behind a true legacy. God Bless.
