Pickup Truck versus Bus
May 6th, 2008
Wallington was toned out when a pickup truck backed out of a driveway into a bus carrying 23 children on North Geneva Road, just north of Glover Road. Wallington 24-3 went on location along with Sodus Center assistant chief 21-2 and requested Rescue and fire police for traffic control due to the unsafe location of the bus still in the roadway. Along with Wallington, Sodus Center Ambulance, Sodus Town Ambulance, and Silver Waters Ambulance out of Sodus Point. All the patients were ok and ready to go home. Wallington responding units were Rescue-32, Engine-39 and chief cars 24-1,3,4 as well as 14 firefighters.
